1. Of the four types of conveyor rain covers, both fixed and retractable covers are made of galvanized corrugated steel or color-coated steel. Generally, there are nine fixed covers and one retractable cover for every ten cover positions, or the two types can be arranged alternately. During installation, place the retractable cover on the left and right adjacent fixed covers, with the overlap length being one or two wave pitches. Be sure to place the hinged side of the retractable cover on the non-traffic side of the conveyor, and the latched side on the traffic side.
2. The frame that secures the conveyor cover is a connecting angle or Z-shaped steel, the length of which is equal to the conveyor cover's installation length. Weld the connecting angle or Z-shaped steel to the channel steel or small angle steel on both sides of the conveyor frame. If support angles are required, first weld them to both sides of the frame, then weld the connecting angle or Z-shaped steel to the support angles. 3. Install the rain shield in a "品" (Chinese character) formation from one end of the frame to the other. During installation, do not stand on the rain shield and avoid hitting or banging it.
4. Secure the rain shield to the connecting angles or Z-shaped steel using self-tapping screws, using at least four fixing points per shield.
5. Install an observation rain shield every ten shields for easy maintenance and inspection.
6. The inflection point cover is only used at the inflection points of the conveyor's convex curve section, while the deviation switch cover is designed specifically to cover the deviation switch. Both types of covers are attached to the fixed cover.
